STAY CLAM

For those of you who have already read your lesson for Wednesday, you know the title of this post is not a typo. What a beautiful chapter, one filled with compassion and humor. Isn't it a beautiful picture to know that Jesus knows all our sins, He could name them but perhaps like with the woman caught in adultery, He would remain quiet, thus deal with our heart.

We have discovered through our previous studies and throughout scripture that it is our heart that gets us into trouble. It is our inner being. It has great capacity to love as well as be wicked.

How many of us would admit to seeing ourselves in her writings this week? Isolating ourselves from others because they might not like us once they got to know us. We all need and desire fellowship but we can sometimes sabotage it because we do not think people will like us if they "really knew". Angie offered a challenge in this weeks readings. She encourages us to get alone with Him and ask Him to reveal to us areas in our lives, past and present, that stand in the way of our relationship with Him. Remember, He can be glorified in spite of our mistakes. He loves us and really does want a relationship with us.

Be sure to read and re-read if necessary the chapter for Wednesday. And remember, no matter what comes your way this week, STAY CLAM.

He makes all things work together for the good of those who love Him. Romans 8:28
