Rock the boat, don't tip the boat over! That song is stuck in my head. How are the seas of your life today? As with Peter, let us call out to the LORD to save us. As with Peter, when we call out He will be save us.
As we walk through another hard week our hearts and prayers are with Cathy as she reels from the loss of Dale. Jean, Jan and Melodie; as well as Beverly and Ruth are going through struggles with family members as well. I must say, this week's lesson was one mixed with humor, and smack you in the face truth. How did you fair with it?
Are you ready to get out of the boat? My struggle with doubt is not is He real, but rather is this really what it is all about? Can we not expect more from ourselves and one another? Then the whole question remains, did I stop one step too short?
May the LORD have mercy on us? Each one of us is in a different place but may we all be found faithful in the pursuit of Him with our ultimate goal to worship the true and living God in spirit and truth. Let us push into Jesus and rest in Him.
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6
