Blessed

Hello friends, it has been a while since a new post. What wonderful days we have been enjoying. So much has happened since our last visit via the blog. Beverly is recovering from her very extensive surgery. Please continue to remember her in prayer during this very tough time. Our dear friends, Cathy and Marsha are walking through their days of grief and adjusting to all the changes set before them. They need our prayers as well.

Tom and I just returned from a week of rest in one of our favorite spots, we spent the week in our favorite cabin. It was such a blessing to have a "mental health" vacation at just the perfect time for us. I love how my Father knows just what I need at just the right time.

For those who were not at class last week, we are going to be studying Psalm 119 for the next few weeks. Please read verses 1-8 for class discussion tonight. I personally had a feast on 1-5. Oh were it so, to be found doing nothing wrong and always walking in His ways. I believe it is going to be a wonderful time together as we look to His Word and make practical application of that Word in our lives.

Blessed are they whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD. Blessed are they who keep his statues and seek him with all their heart. They do nothing wrong; they walk in his ways. You have laid down precepts that are to be fully obeyed. Oh that my ways were steadfast in obeying your decrees! Then I would not be put to shame when I consider all your commands. I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws. I will obey your decrees; do not utterly forsake me. Psalm 119:1-8
