VICTORY

CONGRATULATIONS! WE COMPLETED OUR STUDY! As Marilyn and I talked, we shared of how amazed we have been to see God work in ALL our hearts during the study of His word this summer. The timing of this study was on target of where many of us have been in our personal lives.  In some ways, this was not an easy study. My "toes" got stepped on a bit and God is transforming my will and my heart. Orman Gwynn, a dear friend, used to tell me to be willing to be stretched like a rubber band when God is at work. Well, I've been stretched, how about you?! 

I am so ready for schedules to be back to "normal" - whatever that means!! I've really missed the consistent fellowship gathering we have when school is in full swing and vacations are, for the most part, done! 

My favorite season is FALL. LOVE IT! We want to plan another fellowship at my house in Oct., so be watching for info concerning that. Your ideas are welcomed, too.

Thank you for being such an encouragement to me during our study of Col. 3. I told someone this morning that God will not let me leave these virtues so easily because I need the application so desperately in my life. Everyday I am faced with  a choice of being obedient or disobedient to dress myself with kindness, forgiveness and compassion! Darn. :)

This week, we are going to do something a little different. Please bring your scripture spirals and a snack to share if you like. We are going to just have some girl fun. We have earned it!!
