As I set here typing this I am reminded just how blessed we are. I have begun a list of "I am so tired of.......". When pondering that thought about 6 things immediately came to mind. The first on my list was not being able to celebrate with other Christians the many blessings we have as a church and individuals. So I have begun to use my list as a jumping off point to allow God to change the attitude of my heart and place my focus on God. So here we go!!!
I am so thankful for the bountiful blessings the LORD has bestowed on FBC, I know of no other church in our community that is enjoying the fruits of years of blessings. It is not just financial blessings that God has given us, each one individually has been blessed to be able to live in this country and have the freedom to accomplish whatever we desire. We have every opportunity to be the church God calls us to be and be relevant to those in our community.
I am thankful that in spite of whatever struggle I have I know He is with me, the same is for you as well. We are not guaranteed that we will not have struggle but we are assured He is with us. I celebrate the beauty of Real Life Discipleship for Women, this group has become so much more than Gail or I could ever have imagined. You are awesome.
Our focus tonight is Psalm 119:17-24, be sure to read it and review 1-16 so that you are ready to join in the discussion. Deal bountifully with your servant, that I may live and keep your word. Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law. Psalm 119:17&18
