Where Are You Today?

That is a question I ask myself frequently, how about you? With our lives moving faster and faster and the pressure ever increasing on us as women to be everything that the world says we are to be, it can become harder and harder to pinpoint your location. While preparing for class this Wednesday I am given pause to think about, "Who God says He is" and how that relates to me and where I am today.

If we are to walk by faith and not by sight, we better be sure of what we are putting our faith in. Abraham, being the father of all who believe had a faith that never wavered. His faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God. Romans 4:21 tells us, "he was absolutely convinced that God was able to do anything he promised. And because of Abraham's faith God declared him to be righteous." The really incredible thing is God declared him righteous and that was not only for his benefit but ours as well if we believe in God, who brought Jesus back from the dead. ....he was raised from the dead to make us right with God.

Where am I today? I am made righteous through the saving blood of Jesus Christ. Walking on a path of progressive sanctification and made holy by the precious blood of my LORD. I ask again, where are you today?

May you know the blessed peace that comes from knowing the creator of heaven and earth.

Please be prepared to share your latest memory verse this Wednesday.

  1. Our Sunday night group study has made me really question myself of how easy it is to "talk the talk" but difficult to "walk the walk" as we say.
We have looked at the life of Abraham and Joseph and I keep asking myself, "How well do I do when faced with adversity?" Do I REALLY live a life of a BELIEVER? In ALL things? Abraham was asked to kill his son. Joseph was sold by his brothers and put into prison.
Let's pray for one another in our faith walk! God's plan/picture is so much larger than we can possibly see or understand.
