Join with me in praying for Dian, her sister and her mother as they say their last goodbye to the man that was father and husband to them.
Dian is living out her testimony in believing God and trusting that God DOES have a plan and it IS for HIS GLORY. She does not want any praise, and yet I am so proud of how she is allowing suffering to proclaim the goodness of God, and the great comfort we receive in being a follower of Jesus in times of sadness.
Remember to bring baked goods tonight for the Knight family. Please put them in freezer bags, marked and dated. This will allow them to use the items as needed. Elisa has a long road still ahead of her. She has radiation starting soon and 3 more surgeries.
Looking forward to seeing you tonight. We will probably have "new" ladies join us in the next few weeks who are wanting to do our summer Bible study. Please make sure they feel welcomed and informed about our community. You know me and my memory - I'm lucky to remember that it is Wednesday and that I have church!
