I was reading a blog post last night and these words stood out to me, "HE (Jesus) is everything."
I had to ask myself, "Gail, is Jesus EVERYTHING?" At times I have to confess that, no, Christ is not everything to me. In the midst of a storm when the wind and the waves are crashing upon me the strength of the wave drag me to the bottom, and the water soaks me to the skin and THAT seems to be my ALL. When my heart seems broken, the overwhelming pain over shadows the love of Christ. Yes, I want Christ to be EVERYTHING. To love him IN AND DURING A STORM, and when I am at the mountain top. My life will reveal what is most important to me. May today begin a new challenge of Christ being EVERYTHING in ALL things!
