Hello Ladies,
Our title is such because we all may feel a little crazy trying to post our comments; searching for the perfect verse; and let alone the process of posting a comment! We will get there so don't give up.
We REALLY want to hear from each of you DURING the week so that we can encourage each other in the victories that you are experiencing, but also how we can pray for you during your struggles.
It has been a wonderful Lord's day for me; I pray it was a blessing to you too. I LOVE seeing our "Wednesday Girls" on Sunday Morning. Thanks for the hug Irene I needed it!
This is a reminder that we are to share our memory verse on EACH Monday. Please share with us how God is transforming you with His word.
IF you cannot post for some reason email Marilyn or Gail and we will make sure your comment gets posted.
Praying for each of you!
I am working on Psalm 62:5, "Find rest, O my soul, in God ALONE; my HOPE comes from HIM."
ReplyDeleteSometimes I find myself putting my hope in things or people other than God and that ALWAYS leads to an anxious and restless soul.
This verse reminds me where my hope must be grounded!!
I am working on Philippians 3:13-14, "But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."
ReplyDeleteIt is easy to dwell on the past, but I'm reminded to look forward. I love how the verse uses the words "strain" and "press." To move forward is an intentional act and it's not always easy. Still, we're called to do so while keeping our focus on Christ.
I am working on Colossians 3:12-13. I think I might learn 12, then 13 for my next one.
ReplyDeleteTherefore as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourself with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

I'm still working on Psalms 145:8
ReplyDeleteGod is all grace and mercy
he is not quick to anger
is rich in love
I'm working on the anger/love part of it.

My verse this week is Proverbs 31:30
ReplyDeleteCharm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
I finally finished memorizing Colossians 3:1-4...."Since, then you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life appears you will also appear with Him in glory."
ReplyDeleteI want to continue in that chapter. The next section is really verses 5-11, but I am going to try and break it down into 5-8 and 9-11. I hope I haven't bitten off more than I can chew.
I love the support of our group. It is encouraging and it is also wonderful to be accountable to one another.
Love you all!
Ann
Sorry about not posting on Monday. I forgot it was due Monday. My memory verse I am working on this week is Phil. 4:13
ReplyDelete"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
My next memory verse was going to be what Gail is working on so I hope that is okay.
Psalm 62:5
"Find rest, O my soul, in God ALONE; my HOPE comes from HIM."
Ann, I continue to pray for you as you discipline yourself to this passage of scripture. You have been a great encouragement to me as I've watched you walk by faith! God is faithful.
