Hello Ladies,
I have been so blessed being a part of our small group on Wednesday! Each of you bring something special to our class, and when you share with us what God is doing in your life, I find encouragement.
Today is our day to share where you are in your scripture memory. I am finding it so amazing how God is leading all of us to different passages depending on where we are in life. We've witnessed the guiding of God's Spirit!
START your 7 days of thanks that I gave you Wednesday! If you forgot yesterday just start today. Rejoice in ALL that God has done for us and what he has given us - just because He can!
Continue to pray for Bev as she rests in the promises of God in her own life.
Bev, WE LOVE YOU!
Blessed Easter week ladies.
My new verse is Ps 16:11, "You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
ReplyDeleteMy verse remains: "As the deer pants for streams of water,so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?" Psalm 42:1-3
ReplyDeleteCathy Favre emailed her verse in. It is: God has said, "I will never leave you or forsake you." Hebrew 13:5
I'm still working on Psalm 62:5 "Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from Him. (I cannot seem to remember it so I will continue to work on it.)
ReplyDeleteI have a question though about our group on Wednesday...There is a special Huddle Up meeting going on at the same time we generally have our meetings. On Facebook I asked the question to First Baptist Church facebook page about the time slot since it is going on at the same time we meet and it said all Equip U classes are over. I know we are ongoing so will we skip our class on Wednesday so we can plan on going to the meeting or are we meeting as usual?
A message from Brandy Taylor:
ReplyDeleteI forgot to send in my memory verse. I am still working on Isaiah 26:3... You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. This verse is so true, the more that we focus on God the more at peace we are through anything. I have found this out by practicing it over the last two and half years. You have to make it a daily, no minutely, 'habit'. As soon as that negative thought/lie/bad memory pops in your head, you have to give it over to God, right then. As many times as it takes.
